Newborn
Puppies were born on January 11, 2008. Lilly went into hard labor at 3:30 a.m. and had 8 healthy puppies (6 boys and 2 girls). The first was born at 3:50 a.m. and the final one came out at 9:00 a.m. Lilly is doing well and seems to be very proud of herself. Meet the pups:
Meet Mr. Blue. He is an early riser. He was the first to come out and was born at 3:50 a.m. Mr. Blue weighed 14.80 oz.
Meet Mr. Green. He was born at 4:35 a.m. and weighed in at 14.35 oz. We already think he is going to be an agility star due to his climbing off of laps and out of coolers!
Meet Mr. Gray. He was born at 5:15 a.m. and weighed in at 13.70 oz. He is a cuddler and loves to be held.
Meet Miss Pink. She was born at 6:05 a.m. and weighed in at 9.25 oz. She is as cute as a button!
Meet Mr. Black. He was born at 6:30 a.m. and weighed in at 11.85 oz. I couldn't hardly get a picture of him because his head was going 90 miles an hour looking for a teat!
Meet Miss Yellow. She was born at 6:55 a.m. and weighed in at 12.65 oz. She could be an Anne Geddes baby!
Meet Mr. Red. He was born at 8:15 a.m. and weighed in at 15.75 oz. He was the biggest one at birth and he knows it!
Meet Mr. White. He was born at 9:00 a.m. and weighed in at 15.30 oz. He was the second largest at birth. You will often find him and Mr. Red duking it out for a teat!
The Group:
Lilly finally gets some rest after a long morning. She is a proud mommy and is doing very well.
Puppy pile! The babies all decide to eat at the same time.
Miss Pink decides to snuggle up to her mommy for a little nap.

Eating or sleeping? Half of the wee little ones come to eat, while the other half just come to have a sleeping buddy.
Mr. Gray decides to climb on top of everyone and sleep while they eat.
Mr. Blue joins mommy to cuddle while everyone else eats.

Jeff and Nikki decided this litter of 8 is a little bit different than our previous litter of 1. This is going to be a lot of fun and work!!
